About the challenge

This is an overnight hackathon centered on building innovative solutions in the biomedical domain. The focus is on original thinking, meaningful problem-solving, and creative use of technology.

 

Requirements

What to Build

Projects must address problems related to biology, medicine, or healthcare. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Diagnostics and medical imaging

  • Biosignal interpretation

  • Assistive and rehabilitation technologies

  • Bioinformatics and computational biology

  • Public health and accessibility

Projects must clearly demonstrate relevance to the theme.

Restrictions (Strict) Disallowed Project Types

The following are not acceptable submissions:

  • Projects whose primary interface is a chatbot or conversational agent

  • Generic “AI assistant” or medical Q&A tools

  • Applications that rely mainly on prompt-response behavior without deeper functionality

  • Projects with no clear connection to biomedical use cases
